On Saturday Matt, Adam, and I went for a bike ride. (I was hoping I'd go into labor. No go obviously) We drove into Riverdale and rode on the parkway almost to the 21st street pond. It's an awesome parkway and we were so amazed at how many people use it. I'm sad that we didn't do this sooner since we will now have to wait a while to do it again. But Adam really enjoyed it, and Matt and I had a blast.
The parkway trail goes right past the kayak course in the Ogden river. This is the lookout for it to watch while competitions are going on. It's really incredible what they were able to build.
Adam loves his trailor. When ever we go outside, he tries to sit in it thinking this will make it so we have to go on a bike ride.
Each year Matt's family goes on a boating/camping trip. This year is no different but a lot closer to home since I was 36 week prego and Matt's little bro just had surgery a couple days before. We just went up to Pineview Dam and camped from Wednesday to Saturday. The first night there was one of the worst storms I'd been in. But our awesome new tent protected us like a butterfly in a cacoon. Adam didn't even move a muscle as it sounded like all the trees were being uprooted around us. Adam really enjoyed having so much freedom around the camp and getting really dirty. One of the days it warmed up slightly and we were able to take the kids for a boat ride. I think that's the first time I've ever gone on a boat ride in regular clothing, the water was like 52 degrees! Needless to say it was a great and relaxing trip!
Adam loved being in the tents, and jumping on the pads.
The boat ride. He actually was really happy, just pouting that I made him sit down. (I didn't want to post this picture of me, but it's the only one of us in the boat. I look like whale)
My little fisherman! Sadly we didn't catch any fish, not even a nibble. I think they were all frozen.
This was Adam's favorite part of trip. Bubbles. We had to hide them when we needed a break from blowing them.
Cute squishy-face is waiting patiently for the bubbles to begin.
This is the morning after the storm, we woke up and found a very thick layer of ice in the front of the boat. Good thing the boys covered it up the night before.
Adam inched closer and closer to the music and finally ended up almost in Steve's lap. He likes being sung to.

That is so exciting!!!! I hope that your labor is fast and easy (every girl's dream :)). I can't believe how much you're doing, I would be on the couch. Looks like lots of fun though!
Yea lucky for you you get to go a little early and have your mom there too! What a trooper you are camping that far along in a tent! Sorry the bike ride didn't put you into labor that would have been nice for you to go a few days earlier than thursday! Good luck hope things go smoothly!!!
Jess you are like a pregnant wonder woman. Your up and going right up until this little girl is coming. You're amazing, and you look super great too. Adam is such a darling boy. He's going to be such a fun big brother. I insist on bringing you dinner (at your convenience) when you get out of the hospital. So I'm going to be texting or calling you to find out when, ok?
I can't wait to meet Emma. Hope all goes well with the labor. Beau will have to have Adam over to play after the baby comes so you can have some napping time or alone with Emma time.
HURRAY for Thursday!!!! Good luck, you're amazing! Can't wait for pictures of your little girl, she'll be beautiful!

Happy induction day... hope everything is smooth sailing (well as smooth as having a baby can go).
I love bike rides with the kids as well and that old building in the picture of your family is so cool.
I'm hoping everything went well and baby Emma is here, safe and sound! Haven't heard yet, so I'll be giving Grandma a call tomorrow!
