I love the 4th of July!! It is BY FAR my favorite holiday hands down. I love being with family and seeing all the fun stuff going on, the parades, the food, and the fireworks. Adam seemed to love it this year too. We started out friday night going out to good old Plain City with my fam for the car show and dinner that my parents had to help with and then over to their house after for fireworks. Adam fell asleep half way through, he tried so hard to watch but just kept falling back asleep. The next morning we watched the plain city parade and had breakfast with most of my dad's side of the family. Then we went in to Matt's family and spent the rest of the day and night with them. We went to Cherry Day's, which is North Ogden's 4th celebrations and to his grandma's house for lots of food, swimming, games, and fireworks. Once again Adam fell asleep halfway through the fireworks and just couldn't keep his eyes open. I have to admit it was really nice that he was so tired, because he slept in until 9:00 this morning. *sigh* that's probably that last time that will happen in a very long time for Matt and I!
My parents just got this toy and Adam absolutely loved it. He only wants to be in the pilots seat, he spent the majority of the night on it.
The grandkids always love the uncles since they are so willing to play with them. (Look at Abby's awesome hair)
Adam liked the sparklers, he just kept trying to blow them out.
Adam LOVED the parade, especially after he realized that it was candy getting thrown all over. And in Plain City, it's a TON of candy.
He had a great time swimming, he mostly just wanted to play with the hose though.
Grandpa Fred had to hold Adam after a while because he was so heavy I could hardly breathe. The fireworks didn't even bother him he was so out.
The 4th of July is so awesome, and it was perfect weather this year. Not too hot, and a slight breeze to help the bugs stay away. A perfect year!

Fun! Every year I think about how fun the 4th was in Plain City when we were young :) Good times...

Adam looks like he is having a blast swimming. I just love the 4th of July too. There's just no other time like it. It was soooo good to see you at the 3rd of July celebration. I'm so excited to get to see little Emma before too long.
What a fun little air plane toy! I love the 4th pictures the parade looks fun with the candy and what a fun whale swimming pool thing! Isn't it funny they just sleep right through fireworks! Wow I looked at your pregnancy ticker you are really on the count down! Lucky, I am so jealous December seems so far away!!!
