This is what he does when Elle is on the floor. He usually has pants on, but I just changed his diaper and he got away before I could put his pants on. Don't judge me.

It's a girl!
We went to the doctor today and it's a girl!! Our last appointment was when I was 13 weeks and he had said it was possibly a boy, but didn't have the confidence that he had when he told us Adam was a boy at the same week. But I guess that tail bone grew up in because the ultrasound looked different than Adam's! I'm starting to feel pretty good, I'm not as tired and haven't thrown up in about two weeks. Yea! It's amazing how much sooner you start to show the second time around, I didn't look this pregnant until I was about 22 weeks last time! The doc said that everything looked good and that the baby was growing on schedule and the heart beat was great. That's always a nice thing to hear! I think that Adam will love being a big brother, especially to a sister. I babysit a little girl and Adam is always so caring and protective of her. If she starts fussing, he immediately comes and gets me to say 'uh-oh' and points in her direction. If she ever cries hard, he actually cries hard too, he has such a tender heart! He loves to pat her tummy or rub her head, and I don't have to remind him to be soft, he just is already. He always makes sure that she has plenty of toys in front of her for entertainment and he likes to lay down next to her on the blanket, or make her laugh by doing random things that she and Adam think are hilarious for some crazy reason. So I'm hoping that with having her for the last several months that Adam will be okay once the baby comes and won't have the sibling jealousy or whatever they call it. The babe and Adam will share a room and I'm excited to make new valances and a bumper and stuff to match a girl and a boy. When I'm done with the stuff, maybe I'll post it. (If it turns out okay that is)

This is what he does when Elle is on the floor. He usually has pants on, but I just changed his diaper and he got away before I could put his pants on. Don't judge me.

Congratulations! It will be fun for you to have one of each. What a sweetheart! He is so good with Elle, that should make it tons easier if he is used to a baby being around. Glad you are feeling better.

No judgement here-my kids love to be pantless!

Yeah!!!!!!!!!! What a great older brother Adam will be to a little sister, he's so sweet and tender. It worked well for our fam. In spite of some of the rivalries, Matt and Missy were really good friends.
Just make sure that baby girl Stringham doesn't find out about the whole McDonalds joke.
