What a goofy kid, I couldn't believe that he fell asleep on the floor!
He would hardly get off his bed to eat lunch. That's a big thing since Adam always wants to eat.

New Bed
So we got Adam a toddler bed and set it all up for him. He was really excited about it while I was putting it together, and after it was completed he just couldn't stay off of it. He wasn't even confused about the crib not being his bed anymore, which kind of surprised me. It was time for a nap and I thought we might as well try it, so I laid him down and he slept just as good as he did in his crib!! Even when he woke up he wouldn't get down, he just cried for me to come get him.(Too bad that didn't last longer!) That night when we put him down, he only got up once, and yesterday he did great too. Adam usually goes to bed pretty early, at 7 and is good to just go to sleep or at least lay there if he's not quite tired. So last night I could tell he wasn't super tired but I think it's good to keep the same routine, so we put him to bed thinking we would have to lay him down 20 times or so. The second time I went in and he scrambled back into bed giggling, so I didn't have to even do anything, but as soon as I walked out I thought I heard him doing something so I listened for a while and heard nothing else so I walked away. When we were going to bed we checked on him and this is how we found him.

I'm glad it went so well! He looks so grown up on his new bed. I've been thinking about moving Carly, I just have a feeling she wont do as well as Adam.
That's so cute. What a funny little boy you have! I hope he continues to be good with the bed for the most part.
too sweet! love how you found him on the floor... kids are so crazy! i'm afraid to stick Ava in a big kid bed... she sleeps so well in her cage, i mean crib.
It is so sad that Adam is growing up so fast, but it is time with a sister on the way.
How funny! I am actually nervous about switching Carter. We are moving in 3 months to our house and we are switching him then. That's cool he likes it so much!
That is super funny! I don't know how kids sleep on the floor, it's so hard. I'm glad to hear that he has done well, lucky! It's usually a good week for my kids to do the transition
What a good boy! Our transition was much more difficult so that is awesome it went so smoothly.
My kids all did this too. Even the waiting till I got them out in the morning! He's so stinkin' cute! Hey and CONGRATS on baby #2! Emma is a beautiful name! Hope you're doing well!
What cute pictures. For some reason as soon as they move into a big bed they seem all grown up. Better to move Adam now then when baby sister comes, he should be all used to it by then.
I just saw that your name for your new baby is Emma....I love that name! (my youngest sister is an emma) Good choice, Emma's are always cute.
