All about Adam

Yesterday day was Adam's 1st birthday. It has been an amazing year and Matt and I are so glad that we have him in our family! In thinking over the past year, I really think that we've been blessed with an easy going kid, he's just happy or content with almost anything. He's been great since the day he was born, he ate well, at night instead of crying when he was hungry he just grunted until I woke up, and he's been a good sleeper. He loves buttons of ANY kind and he instinctively knows what is and what isn't a button. So he gets upset when we take away the remotes, game controllers, phones, and hide the DVD player or XBox. By looking at Adam and how big and burly he is, one might think he's the 'bully' type. But no, we've got the sensitive little guy which we aren't complaining about since that makes him really huggy and snuggly. Here's just a couple things that he's afraid of; washers, electric hand mixers, toilets flushing, church bells ringing, shredders, blenders, and the big number one...Vacuums! The last three he screams when he hears them and won't move until you pick him up because he's so afraid, but the other ones he just gives you the tightest hug and wraps him arms around your neck. So needless to say I can't vacuum until Matt gets home to hold him in the other room. Adam is so much fun and it's amazing to watch babies grow and learn, they do both so quickly! Going through the pictures of when he was born and so little, it was crazy to see how much he has changed!





















This last picture was the cake that I made Adam, it was fun since it was my first time to decorate a cake but it didn't go as smoothly as I hoped it would...issues with the frosting...but I'll know now for next time. Adam got so many fun present from his family and he would've played with them all night long if we'd have let him! Happy Birthday Adam!
