Graduation and things

Today was a long day, but a good one. We went to Matt's graduation at 8 am, which was commencement, and then at 12:30 he had convocation. The first one was okay, there were two speakers that I didn't care for, but the second ceremony was what we were looking forward to, and that's because there was a great speaker....Matt! Yup, he spoke and did very, very well. I was so proud of him standing up there, what a guy! I was extremely disappointed that I couldn't graduate with him, but that's another story and one that I don't like to talk about because it makes me really mad at one certain professor of mine...Anyways he looked great and did great. We all went to dinner and now I'm sitting here with my stomach hanging over because I ate way too many cinnamon rolls. (My weakness in life are breads) It was a great day with a great end. Adam was a real trooper, he had about 4 naps; two of which were in my arms and the other two were in the car and part in his crib. It's crazy to think about Matt and I not ever having to go to class again at Weber State. He's extremely excited, but it feels weird for me since that's what we've been doing since we've been dating. Here are some picture to help make you feel like you were right there with us...

Adam and I waiting for commencement to begin, he wanted his very own chair.

Not a super picture, but it's of Matt from ALL the way across the Dee Events Center. I know, I have an awesome camera.

This is Matt sitting at Convocation with one of his professors, getting ready to speak.

The fam.

I figured that since it took me a month and a half since my last blog and it may be a little while before I blog again, I'll give you some more updates. When I said it would probably be awhile before my next blog it's not because I'll be busy, no no, I'll just be catching up on doing NOTHING. I'm so excited to be able to spend my days with Adam and not have to worry about other things. sooo excited!! My house will be clean again, and for the first time in quite a while it will be organized!!! (note: this may take several months)
Adam is 10 months old now and it's been fantastic watching him grow up. Adam has had his first full hair cut, I've trimmed it several times over his ears and the long hairs in front, but the top was getting out of control. He didn't mind the clippers, in fact he was very intrigued and wanted to look at them, which made it very hard.

So my pictures are all messed up, but you get it. It's before, during, and after.

We got a new stove after ours wasn't working for about 3 weeks, but it was worth the wait.

Old ugly stove that never really worked all the way.

New stove that is awesome and works whenever I ask it to.

This other stuff I don't have pictures because Adam wouldn't let take one of his teeth, but he has 8 teeth now and I think that's quite an accomplishment. He got his 8th when he was 9 months, so he had almost as many teeth as months he was old. Just watch out if he puts his mouth on you, he bites! He took his first steps when he just barely turned nine months old, but he was stubborn for a while and wouldn't do it again, he's starting to take steps again now.

I know I'm totally bragging about my kid and husband, but hey, it's been a good day and I'll just finish off feeling good about myself.

Where did you get the yummy cinnamon rolls? I am also a bread junkie.

Can you believe it, Dane has no teeth yet.
