Adam

Today was the big day that we've been waiting for, Adam got tubes put in his ears. We had to arrive by 7:15 and it took a little while to get him all checked in and talk to the doctors, but after that, we waited for about 5 minutes until the doctor came and talked to us. He said everything went fine, although he did have a lot of fluid in his ears. We then waited for them to come back to get Adam, and we were hearing this deep growling/crying and we realized it was Adam. Poor kid was having a hard time coming out from the anesthesia, it took quite a while to calm him down but after that he was doing a lot better.

We are waiting in the room for the doctors and nurse to come talk to us.

Adam in his pj's we bought for him since he couldn't wear any metal. We just got home and he's already happy to be playing with his zebra that he picked out before surgery. I hope the tubes bring back my smiley little boy soon!

On another note, my youngest and last brother to serve a mission recieved his call. We found out on Wednesday but I'm a slacker and didn't post until now, he will be serving in the Barranquilla Columbia Mission and he leaves June 10th. I'm so proud of Blake!!

Poor guy, surgery is never fun. Hopefully they will help a lot and he won't be sick anymore!

Looking at the after surgery pictures Adam sure doen't look any worse for wear. I can't believe what a great sport he has been the past few months, having all of the ear pain. Just imagine the best is yet to come.

Hey, and send our congratulations to Blake, WOW!!! He'll do great.

I also hope that Adam gets feeling better soon. Olivia seems to be felling better after just a week of having her tubes put in. Hopefully it's all up hill from here with both kids.

Poor kiddo! Tubes are no fun, but at least there should be an end to the ear infections. Cognrats to your brother! That sounds like a really exciting mission!
