Summer Fun Part 1

This has been a crazy summer.
 - We started with my laurel retreat, youth conference, and girls camp, which Matt took care of the kids at night and both our moms had them during the days while he was working.
-In June we had Adam's and my birthdays and July was Emma and Matt's birthdays. All four of our birthdays are within 30 day period, all I can say is we will not have another summer baby! It's like paying for a mini christmas in the summer.
-We had the 4th of July and my brother coming home from his mission on the same day, Awesome!
-Two days after the 4th, we had both a sad funeral and then drove straight to an amazing baptism that we've been wanting to happen for years!
-Bear Lake with Matt's family for 4 days
-A couple days later we drove to Montana for my family reunion and to see Luke and Lisa for 3 days and just got home last night.
-Last of all I ran a 1/2 marathon!

Adam turned 4 this year. He is such a fun little boy, he keeps us on our toes and is so smart. He has turned into a little comedian as well. Adam takes such good care of Emma and everyone else, such a little sweetheart!
He wanted a turtle cake, so he got one.
Best of Friends
Waiting for uncle Blake at the airport on the 4th of July
The nieces and nephews mauling Blake as he came out of the terminal.
The kiddos at the parade with Matt. I was in charge of the Breakfast in the Park in Plain City, so I missed out that morning on the festivities.
Just some of the people that came over after getting Blake home from the airport.  It was an extra fun holiday, the 4th is my very favorite day of the year.
Emma played so hard she kept getting hurt. Like getting kicked in the face twice and getting fat lips.

BEAR LAKE
It was so fun and I forget how beautiful the water is and how clear! The kids loved just stopping the boat where ever and jumping and playing in the water. Emma loved the water and Adam was still a little wary, but we are slowly working on it.

The fam in Bear Lake
Us three girls after our tube ride. Melissa was a good sport and stayed on even after we thought we were going to die. Unfortunately the camera barely missed the action.
Adam rode in the tube the whole 8 miles across Bear Lake, Matt said he was singing the whole time.
Emma and cousin Lily

Emma wakesurfing. She was the first one to try it and only after Adam saw her do it, he realized he could too.
Adam trying out wakesurfing. Which if you knew him and how he hates water, this is a HUGE deal! He wore his goggles and some how that made things better for him. He would only go with me so I was really nervous about falling as I got up and he being scarred for life and never going in the water again. But it worked out.
My next post will continue with Emma's birthday, Montana, and my 1/2 marathon!

Looks like you guys have been having fun. Dallin hates water when it is anywhere near his face. Washing his hair is a big deal still and he is 4 1/2. So I can totally relate. What to go Adam!
