Daredevil
I came into the kitchen and saw Emma and Adam on top of the kitchen table playing legos, so I told both of them to get down onto the chairs. I have to tell them this several times a day, and Emma is so good to get down all by herself. Today she decided to actually jump off the table as I watched with my mouth open, knowing what she was about to do, but too late to stop it. Unfortunately it didn't end well for her face, we have carpet that goes a couple inches up the wall in our kitchen and there's a metal strip all the way around it. Emma hit her face right on the metal corner. I'm grateful it wasn't her eye, and that it didn't break the skin!

Oh poor thing! I'm always amazed and how close a lot of kid injuries get to eyes, but are thankfully not right on them.
Poor little thing! That's something my kids would do, just jump right off
Oh poor gal! You're right though, she's very lucky that the damage wasn't worse. I bet she learned not to do that again though! Hopefully :)
