Where do I even begin?

I don't know where to begin because I need to catch up with so many things and pictures, so I think I will start at the beginning and move to towards the present. We will see how far we get tonight:)

This summer, Matt's parents bought a new boat. One that everyone can fit on and still be able to plane out on the water. We all have loved it! Here's proof:

We are new to the wake surfing, but have found that we love it. I like it as much as wakeboarding!

Emma learned to take good naps on the boat. Don't you just want to squish her cute chubby thighs?

Adam has begun to like water slightly more than last year. As long as you don't splash his face.

Emma is a fish. She loved the swim deck and would try to get back there anytime we stopped. She was the one we had to watch closely, I thought it would have been Adam instead.

Here's me. My skills are a little rusty since all last summer I was pregnant or recooperating. I've found I'm not as gutsy anymore. No big jumps or attempting 180's or 360's (not that I could do it before, but I tried). Oh well, I guess it's because I'm a mom now? Is that a good excuse? I'm using it.

The kiddos hanging out by Grandma Nut. (Adam can't say Lynnette, and it has turned into nut) Emma is actually asleep in this picture, with her head in the cup holder area. Adam is asking some sort of question I think.

The close up doesn't look quite as uncomfortable.

The kids' favorite spot.

He's down.
We are all looking forward to next year's boating season, I think especially Matt!

In October we went to the zoo with my mom and sister and her kids. It was a blast, and I don't ever want to go during the summer heat again. The weather was perfect!

Of course what zoo trip is complete with out the gorilla size chart?

Matt's parents got a new boxer puppy, which Adam was so excited for. But it's a love/hate relationship for Emma and Franklin(the puppy). Emma hates him, but he LOVES her. I think it's because she's the closest to his size and so he wants to roll and wrestle with her. He's a cute little guy though.

We were going to carve pumpkins, but Adam insisted that we paint. The kids both loved it.

Matt's mom makes dinner in a pumpkin every year and it was delicious as usual. (sorry really bad lighting in some of these pictures)

After dinner, we carve pumpkins. Adam was excited and a little over eager to handle a knife, he finally was content to tell Dad what to carve.

Matt's little brother had a great idea what to do with his pumpkin.

He cut out the bottom and he carefully placed an engagement ring inside and replaced the bottom and secured it with toothpicks. Barely noticeable!

You can't really tell from the top, but you can see the trap door and the seeds and junk were cleared away for her to see the ring when she cut open the top. It was a really cute way to propose.

Emma was having a really rough time. I had started babysitting a little girl just younger than her that day, and I think she felt threatened. She was mad at me the whole day and evening.

My favorite part of Halloween is carving pumpkins, here's mine this year.
Stay tuned for the next post for pictures of Halloween costumes.

Fred and Lynette brought Franklin to my parent's house right after they got it, he is SO CUTE!! He LOVES kids. It was really weird because Rock loves puppies but he really wanted nothing to do with Franklin. I think it was because he was playful and actually liked him and wasn't trying to get away haha :)

Wow Adam and Carter look a lot alike, especially with short hair and life jackets on, wish we lived closer and they could be buddied :(
Cute pictures!
