Family time!

We had our very first annual Jay Jenkins family reunion. My sister was in charge this year and did a super job, we went to Lava Hot Springs for two days. We did lots of swimming which both kids LOVED! Adam really surprised us, he's not a water person. We did some awesome tubing down the river, I wish we could have had pictures because it was a blast! Lots of really great food too!



Adam still serious from his serious business of helping grandpa and dad move and re-build our fire pit.



Emma's favorite place was the stool into my parent's camper. She eventually got enough courage to climb in and then went crazy and wouldn't stay off the table in there.



and then of course the highest platform at Lava. Brent kind of pushed and pushed which I'm glad he did because I think I've gotten weak and scared in my older age:) That's Brent next to me.

It was an awesome weekend, and we look forward to next year!

Then when we got home and settled slightly, we found this downstairs...





We had some flooding downstairs. We got it all dried out, it is a little smelly still but we were extremely fortunate to not have anything ruined.


We also tried to get Emma's 12 month pictures done. All the pictures turned out like this...

So we tried another day and finally got this, no smiles but at least no tears!
