We had a blast on the 4th of July once again. It started on Saturday and ended Monday night. This year Matt's family was out of town (and very much missed!) visiting his sister that just moved across the country so we spent the whole weekend here in Plain City with my family. Also, my brother Luke and his wife Lisa came down from Montana, Megan's in-laws were out of town too, and Jed and Shannon were out here for most of it, so we all pretty much spent the whole weekend at my parents together. Both Adam and Emma loved the parade and seeing their grandpa 'papa Jay' go past. (He's mayor so he's always in the parade) They both loved the fireworks too, and had three straight nights of awesome ones. Instead of going through a play-by-play of the whole weekend, I'm just loading some of my favorites of everyone.

Emma is our little water baby. We don't have a picture of Adam in the pool because he never got in the pool, he never does. Emma on the other hand was trying to make me let go of her, she was going bonkers!

I now only have 12 more months for my favorite holiday to roll around again. Every year I look forward to July for the festivities. I love our country!

This was my most favorite 4th ever. Everyone was here but one and he is right where I want him. Awesome pictures.
Oh such cute pictures of you and your kiddos on 4th! How appropriate that Emma was sporting her red/white/blue swimsuit too. Yes, I'm sorry that I missed seeing you on the 4th. I didn't even make it up to the celebration this year, which is really weird for me. It was kind of a different 4th. Let's get together soon, soon, soon! I have youth conference this week, but after that I'm free and clear.

Emma is so cute, I can't even handle it! She makes me want a little girl so bad! Adam is funny not going in the water haha :) the only other boy I know that hates water is Scotty. I love the 4th too- a very busy and fun weekend!!
P.S. I totally agree with the last part of you comment on my blog! She had a lot of fun, and was so excited to go out with, "a normal, good looking guy who was taller than her". Now I am trying not to be the meddling sister, but I think it would be totally awesome! We'll have to secretly stay in touch about this matter :) !
