7 Months

Emma is now seven months old, I can't believe how fast time has flown. She is such a fun little girl and has a huge personality already. She loves to be around people, but most of all I think it's a tie between Matt and Adam of who she loves most. She loves getting attention from them and she also thinks they are hilarious. Emma is already showing how stubborn she is going to be, she doesn't like to have her bottles anymore, she just wants real food. She gets angry when I try to feed her a bottle even though she has taken a bottle since she was born. She only eats 2-4 ounces with a grand total of 6-12 ounces a day. I'm not ready to wean her yet since I worry about her getting enough iron because she won't take formula from a sippy cup either.(Her dr. said to get her to drink double of what she is, I don't know how though...any ideas?) She loves breakfast, lunch, and dinner because its fruits and veggies, and she'll eat a lot for me. I cannot get her to switch from three naps to two naps a day. I'm desperate to have her take 2 long naps since right now she has to take one of her naps in my room while Adam naps in his room. She is still sleeping good at night, the only negative part is that her and Adam wake each other up some mornings. Some times we can hear Adam angrily shushing Emma because she is babbling and he still wants some quiet time. She doesn't want to crawl yet, she'd rather sit and have her toys around her, which I think I'm okay with her not being too mobile yet. Church is a little more difficult with her than when Adam was at this age. She fights falling asleep in our arms because she wants to be laid down, and then in sacrament she doesn't want to be held. But she is slowly getting use to it. Oh, and she no longer has to be swaddled!! Emma loves to say da-da constantly, Matt is pretty proud that both our kids said da-da first. Though I argue she doesn't understand it yet so it's too early to call. She can act really shy and flirty sometimes as she smiles and hides her face in her arms. Emma is so sweet and she just melts our hearts, she is our happy girl!







Her 6 month pictures didn't turn out quite the way I had hoped, but I still like them.
