Pizza Pumpkin Party

Yesterday my mom, sisters, grandma and I went to a park to have a pizza lunch with the kids. It's my favorite park and I think Adam's too. It's in Perry and I love it because it's huge and it's pretty low to the ground, and there isn't huge gaping holes that the kids could fall off of like some playgrounds. It was tons of fun! After, my mom took us to have the kids pick out pumpkins to take home. I think I'm going to have to take Adam again to pick out more pumpkins because that is all he is talking about. He insisted on carrying his and Emma's all by himself and would get so angry when I tried to help. He's independent lately.

All my parent's grandkids. Way cute I think.

Adam saw Abby holding Emma and he wanted to also.

I cut my hair, I like it, but it's really different to have such short hair now.

I'm telling ya, Best. Park. Ever.

I LOVE the fall and the beautiful weather. I was given quite a few peaches (my landlord has the garden of all gardens and loves to gives us some of his fruits and vegetables) and Adam and I ate tons and what was left over I made peach pie. I like to cook breads and pies a lot, which isn't good for my hips, so I try not to do it too much. But I've never made a peach pie and they turned out good!

Here's the finished product.

Since the leaves are turning beautiful colors my mom suggested we take a small hike with all the grandkids on my side and so we went up the North Ogden divide and hiked a little ways and had lunch and then we hiked it back. Adam loved it, I don't think he has ever been that dirty before! His white shirt was a bad choice, I had to presoak it many times.

Adam has two boy cousins total and Beau is the one that is his age. He talks about Beau a lot, here's these two trying to get even dirtier.

We stopped for lunch and there was no where to pull off the trail, so we just sat in the middle of it. The kids were in heaven with their sandwiches, chips, and of course the cookies that grandma had to bring.

This is looking from the trail down the canyon into North Ogden.

So I totally stole this idea from my friend Andrea's blog. Adam loved it. It's just yogurt, so it's a healthy snack too. After they are all full put tooth picks in them and freeze it. It tastes like Go-Gurt on a stick.

He ended up eating a ton of it, so I had to finish up the last couple cubes.

This cute kid left on his mission two weeks ago. This is Matt's youngest brother Nate, who is going to Peru. Adam says, 'Nate, poo' since he can't say Peru.

I've posted lots of pictures of Adam, but not Emma, so this is her 2 month picture I took a while ago. She's almost 3 months now, and it makes me super sad that she's growing so fast. I think I'm a baby person, I could have about 20 because it's such an easy stage. But then the two year stage is hard for me, so it really evens out. Don't worry Matt, I'm not saying I want 10 kids. :) maybe 9. kidding.

That picture of Adam at the top of the slide is classic! We are going to Blake and Aly's house in North Carolina for Thanksgiving. I keep telling Dallin about Adam living there, but I think he's thinking of your little guy. I hope he's not too disappointed when we get there and it's not him :)
