A Plethora of Things

Wow. I am so lazy and such a bad friend to you all. Even though I wasn't blogging, I should have at least looked and commented on all your blogs. I don't even have a good excuse! Well to get started we've had a good last couple of months. I was thinking that I need to blog about Thanksgiving, but I'll bypass that and start with December. Matt and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary on the 3rd of December, we kept it low key and just enjoyed it, sorry no wedding pictures because I'm behind on technology and don't have a scanner. Adam turned 18 months and I think is starting a little bit of his 'terrible twos' early, but he's still cute so I can't get mad at him.
One of the big highlights was that brother got home from his mission!!! It is crazy how fast that went, and I can't believe that he had never met Adam, so it was really fun to get to see him!

Brent is meeting Adam for the first time. Luckily Adam didn't cry and hide like he usually does when meeting people for the first time. I couldn't believe how old Brent looked to me, he looked like a man not a little boy anymore!

Another thing is that I FINALLY graduated with my Bachelors in Human Performance Management for WSU!! I can't believe it. This fall semester I had only a 2 credit class that my professor let me do from home so that I could still babysit the little girl I have on those days. This was a long time coming, and I'm just glad it's over!

It was so stinkin cold that day!! My feet were freezing in my shoes inside the Dee Events Center!

Christmas was great this year, it's fun when you have little kids! Last year Adam was only 6 months and had no clue so this year was more fun as a parent, I was more excited about his presents then what I was getting. I think with all of Adam's grandparents and greatgrandparents Matt and I could have done less than we did, but we couldn't help it and Adam came away with a load of things!

We always make Gingerbread houses at Matt's Grandma's house before Christmas, this year Adam got to help make his own, I think that's the most candy he's eaten in more than a month combined, but he was super happy.

I'm surprised that Adam could get the little candies on because he has quite large fingers and hands, but he did well.

The finished look of Adam's and Lily's gingerbread house.

Christmas was fun filled for us getting to see both of our families so much, I didn't get as many pictures as I thought I did, so I'll have to be better next year about it.

This is the annual nativity puppet show that my Mom and Dad do on Christmas Eve, I think all the kids really enjoy helping.

Lily and Adam hanging out on Christmas Eve, they are the only grandkids on Matt's side and so they are luckily the best of friends.

I love the Little People play sets for kids, and so Adam got a couple of those this Christmas and he loves pushing all the music buttons on them. I noticed that most of them use the same tune for all their songs, and Adam seems to love it because he pushes them over and over until the songs plays.

And the last thing that we have going on is coming this July, we will be a family of four!! Yup I'm due around the end of July, but my dr. might change my due date, so I'll let you all know when we know for sure when we can expect baby #2!
