So my mom got after me for not posting for a while. I guess she wants to see her grandson or something. Kidding Mom. But I didn't have anything cool enough that I felt it was worth posting about, so I hadn't posted anything yet. But I thought that maybe if I post about a couple semi-cool things that it would add up to be awesome and I would impress all my fellow family, friends, and blog stalkers.

First things first. Here's our new ride. We replaced the Jeep because it couldn't pass inspections for many reasons and we couldn't afford to fix it. So here's our Subaru. We love it.

Here's Adam's ride. He loves his too, but he didn't have to trade anything in because he's a first time driver.

I've been watching babies lately. Here's Adam, Elle, and Dallin. I usually have Elle a couple times a week, but my sister usually has Dallin. But Meg moved last week and she needed some help. We ran out of diapers unexpectedly that morning and we made a trip to Walmart. The kids were all great! I got some pretty crazy stares. Good thing to know that 3 carseats will fit in my car in case I have twins ever. Kidding.

Adam and Matt hanging out on our walk down the Riverdale parkway.

We showed Adam how to throw rocks in the river. Side note, Adam loves rocks! At Yellowstone we got a carseat and floor full of rocks. He likes to have them in his hand and he'll carry it all day if you let him. When I showed him how to throw the rocks in the river, he started to cry. Probably thinking that I was wasting the good rocks. But once I showed him how many rocks there were, he was okay and joined in on the fun.

Adam watching his rocks splashing.

Adam and his cousin Luke at his favorite park up in Perry. It's awesome! It's pretty low to the ground so I don't worry about him.

Adam and his cousin Beau being pals.

It's been a couple lazy, laid back weeks and I love love love that it's fall now. I just can't handle it. Has anyone seen 'You've got Mail'? Tom Hanks is writing an email saying that he loves the fall and it makes him want to buy school supplies and give Meg Ryan a bouquet of newly sharpened pencils. Those are my thoughts, I'm just not cool enough or original enough to think of that first. We're pretty boring up here in our corner of the world, so I don't know how long it will be until I blog again. I might have to save up the coolness of my activities again.

I think this post is great Jess, so good job :) I'm glad you guys like your subaru. It is a very nice car. That's too cute about Adam and the rocks. I had to laugh when you described his thoughts on skipping rocks as "wasting the good rocks" ha ha ha. That's too funny. I don't know how you take 3 little kiddos to Wal-mart. I get super nervous just taking Elle because I'm worried she's going to spontaneously break out into a tantrum and I won't know what to do. ha ha ha. I hope to be a super mom like you someday :) Thanks for your nice comment on my blog, and thanks for all you do.

That is awesome that Adam loves rocks! Both of my boys have loved them!
Whenever I take all three kids to the store, I always get some kind of comment like "wow, you're busy"

Cute pictures Jess. Thanks for emailing me those pictures from the park they are so cute.

One year my uncle brought my aunt home a bouquet of newly sharpened pencils. It was so cute and she loved it. You've got mail is one of my all time favorite shows.

Jess, I don't think that your life is boring at all. Taking 3 kids to the store alone is enough adventure to last you a while. You have to keep blogging so that this Gma can see the pictures of the cutest little guy ever.

Thanks for the post. Adam looks so big on his new bike. Kate is the rock lover in our family the only bad thing is that she likes to put them in her mouth. Go figure... That park in Perry looks so nice, does it take very long to get there? Maybe I will have to try it out.

So, how does Adam feel about older women? I'll go ahead and keep my Sarah available for him for when he gets back from his mission! He's a doll!
