It has always been super easy to put Adam to bed. After he's dressed in his pj's I just do his little routine thing with him and lay him down without his binky and tuck his blanket into the sides of the mattress. And we don't hear from him until about 7:30 am. But now that he realized that he can play in his crib, he doesn't sleep! Just tonight I went in there 5 times to lay him back down and tuck him in. What he has been doing the last couple of days is he pulls himself up the side of the crib and then he reaches for his mobile, we can always hear him giggling as he tries to grab it. He plays with that for a while and then starts talking really loud as he waits for us to come in, when we do, he's all smiles thinking that we're taking him out of bed. I tried to let him just stay in there with out going in, thinking that he'll just lay down and fall asleep himself, but that doesn't work either he just gets really mad and ends up crying. So we just have to keep going in there and laying him back down to help him know its bedtime not playtime, and now he wants his binky to go to bed! arggg! He was doing so good with out it at night since he was a month old! Because the first couple times I thought this was cute I of course took a couple pictures of bedtime for you all to enjoy.

He totally knows he's caught red-handed. And I had to take his mobile down for good, during his nap I heard a noise and went in to see the whole thing in his crib with him. I think he was happy that he could play with Eeyore, Pooh, Piglet, and Tigger all at the same time. Luckily he didn't break it though.
Adam has had four ear infections in both ears in less than a three month period and they seem to be getting worse each time, this is him as I was starting the car one morning to go to school, he was just so sick and tuckered out, he just fell asleep right there with his hat and jacket on. Poor guy.
Despite his ears, Adam is usually willing to give a smile. I can just tell he's not himself and he doesn't feel good.
He loves to pull himself up on the couch, but he's teething again and so he leaves really thick slobber all over the edges of our cushions. I can't believe he's getting another tooth, that kid will be able to eat a steak by the time he's one! This is his 6th and I hope the last for a little while longer, we need a good break from teething.
This is what we've been up to lately, it's so enjoyable to see Adam growing up and going through these different stages. I love being a mom!

You're a terrific blogger/writer, I love your sense of humor!! Oh dear, if I had a nickel every time we had to go and lay Ava back down due to all her jabbering and jumping around, I'd be a gazillionairre right now! But let me just say, he's the CUTEST little stud!! His smile makes me happy, so very happy!
What a funny kid! Playing in his crib already. Before you know it, he'll figure out how to get out of it! Ear infections are really common in kiddos this young because their eustachian tubes are almost sideways in their heads instead of slanted down like in adults. So drainage doesn't happen as well as when they get older. Poor guy. Hopefully he gets feeling better soon!
I'm so amazed that he would sleep that long, my kids don't do that! That's funny that you have to put him down over and over again, it will get better eventually!
Olivia is having trouble with her ears, too. I have to go to the Dr next week to find out if she's getting tubes or not. Has your Dr said anything about that? Good luck!
Boy, do I ever have the cutest grandchildren. I love the posts!
What a silly little boy. He his so big. I hope you,Missy and lynette can make it to the shower especially since I haven't gotten to see either of you babes in person. Have fun!!!
Oh, what a fun little game he's created. Love every single moment of it! He just about has the cutest smile EVER!! Sorry about the ears, not fun. I think everyone in the world is sick right now. Three of mine have a lingering cough that I don't think will ever go away. I tried to make the rule the other day that if one more person coughs they were all grounded! It didn't work. I can now say I've tried everything!
What a cute little guy! I love the picture with him all tuckered out! That's a bummer that he keeps getting ear infections, but he seems to still be a happy boy anyway!
He is so cute! I can't believe how big little Adam is getting! Too cute!
So I guess that means no more play time for Adam in his crib. He is such a happy baby, with the greatest smile and disposition, even with the many ear infections that he has had. He's such a good sweet baby now, imagine without the bad ears. He'll be perfect!!!!
