So today was Adam's half birthday. We don't celebrate half birthdays in the fam, but 6 months is just another fun mark of an infants life. Adam celebrated it with getting his first tooth in and another one following quickly I'm guessing. He also celebrated his first Christmas, which was really fun for us as parents because we now get to be 'Santa' for our child now. What I'm especially excited about is when he will begin to believe in Santa Clause and to be excited about the holiday season and what it stands for. It was really fun to pick out presents, and I had to try hard to control what we bought for him! We didn't want any old toys to clutter his tiny room though, but fun ones that would be feasible. He didn't take a nap hardly at all today, he was way too interested in what was going on around him, but considering it all he was a very happy baby all day! We love to make him laugh just to hear it, it just melts my heart! (you will have to turn off my music to hear him giggle, and sorry the background noise is loud, I don't have a good camera for this)
Adam enjoyed all of his toys so much, but I think that he wanted to play with the ribbons and bows more than his gifts.
My two good looking men!

This is Christmas eve at Adam's Grandma Barb and Grandpa Jay's, they did a cute nativity program. It ended up being mainly my mom and Blake telling my neice and nephew what to put up, but it was really cute.

My nephew Luke was thinking he was part of the original nativity scene.
This is Christmas day at Adam's Grandma Lynnette and Granpda Fred's. We just lounged in our p.j.'s enjoying the festivities.

This Christmas was really wonderful and it ended a perfect day by being able to speak with Matt's brother Steve in Paraguay, and my brother Brent in Cambodia. They are both doing wonderful and seem to really enjoy the work they are so involved in. It was neat to hear how much they've changed, the blessings and trials they've gone through and to know that they will come from this better young men. We sure miss them!

Don't you love how perfectly intelligent adult are turned into bumbling goofballs when it comes to making babies laugh! That was almost my favorite part of the video. Adam is so blessed to have such a wonderful mommy and daddy!
You now get to know that being the parent at Christmas is so much more wonderful as a parent! Fun stuff!
Happy 6 months to Adam! He is a cutie, and I've enjoyed watching him grow so far (via blog of course). I'm glad you guys had a good Christmas, and that you were able to talk to your brothers!
