Walks

The other day Matt and I took Adam on a walk because Adam seems to love the outdoors, so we went to the Ogden Parkway. I'd never been on that, so I was quite impressed. I really thought that it was a nice trail to walk along with pretty scenery. We went from just below the animal shelter down to the Lorin Farr pool and back. Adam is usually wide awake and smiling whenever I take him on a walk, but he slept for the first half and then woke up to get the last part of the walk in. He was one happy boy. I think it's funny that as we have just become parents we try to do even the littest things that we think our son would enjoy. We had always thought that it would be nice to go on the parkway, but just never made time, or we just chose to do other things instead. But now that we have Adam, we do things just for him. He's two months and has us wrapped around his little fingers. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else though. Here's Matt and Adam on our walk.

You guys are such good parents! I think it's awesome that you took him for a walk. Your already setting him up for some fun memories :)

We are the same way! We love walks and the outdoors but on week nights we never had time or made time to go. We do everything together (the three of us)now. I look forward to five thirty or six for Eric to come home so we can do something fun with Carter!
