The Low-down on the Delivery
So I though I'd tell real quick about how things went at the hospital. I really did have a pretty good birthing experience. I'll start out on Monday when we went to the doctor. He said everthing looked good and that he could start me probably that night, or the next day. So he talked to the hospital and they said they were too busy, and that I could expect a phone call telling me when I can come in. So all of Tuesday I waited and waited. That night they called me to pre-register me, and they said I was on a waiting list for Wednesday, and that I may not even be able to get in until Thursday. I wanted to cry! They told me to call at 9am on Wednesday to find out if I can come in or not. But 7am Wednesday morning, I got a call asking me to come in at 9 am. I called Matt and told him to come home from work to take me up to the hospital. By 10:45 I got my IV's and pitocin, and by 11:30 I had my epidural. (I had to get it early since the doctor was going into surgery) But I was fine with getting it so early, I didn't feel a thing hardly! We just hung out all day long, it would have been perfect if I hadn't kept getting sick from the epidural. It seemed that Adam was really hesitant about coming because he just wouldn't drop down, but finally at 7:10 that night, I started pushing. At 7:36 he was born. He weighed 8 lbs 15 oz, and was 21 inches long. He has big hands and feet and is pretty hairy all over. He doesn't really look like a new born to me since he's kind of bigger, but very cute none the less. The first night in the hospital, they didn't bring him in once to our room and didn't really let us know what was going on. They kind of freaked us out, but then around 7 am I was really getting worried and they brought him into us, saying that his temperature was really low the whole night, and he couldn't come out of the nursery. I was kind of upset that they didn't let us know. He was fine after that. The first night home, he just didn't want to sleep, so Matt and I got about an hour of sleep total, but the second and third nights home he slept wonderfully only waking up every 3 hours to eat and then fell right back asleep. We love being parents, it's the greatest thing in the world! We love this little guy and the love he brings into our little family.

8 lbs 15 oz? Holy Moly, I think you are my hero.
I'm glad everything went so smoothly! I wish all pregnancy experiences were like that :) It would take away some of my fear.
I'm so glad things went well! Especially with such a chub, Bing was 8.5 so I know how it feels! But I never got him out until the c/section. Good for you! He is just beautiful! Keep posting more pics of him! I hope you feel well!
Oh congrats! He looks so cute! I am glad everything turned out okay!
